Harley-Davidson and the Hard Rock Café have teamed up to bring motorcyclists the 2006 “Riding Rocks” event. From Friday July 14 to Monday July 17 all seven of the UK’s Hard Rock Cafes will throw open their doors as all bikers are invited to take part in a riding marathon to raise money for charity.

Riders are challenged to visit any or all of the Hard Rock Cafes across the UK over the course of the weekend including London, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Cardiff, Leeds, Manchester and Nottingham. Each Café will stamp riders’ event tracking documents to validate their visit (collected from any of the restaurants, no purchase necessary) and at the end of the weekend, the rider who has raised the most money on their travels for the charities will win a fantastic Harley-Davidson leather Race Jacket.

All riders need to do to get involved is log on to www.harley-davidson.co.uk and download a sponsorship form.

Raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy UK and The Children’s Trust, the event is calling on all motorcyclists looking for a great ride and challenge, and all for a good cause. And of course you can enjoy all the great food and drink on offer at the Hard Rock Café.

Commemorative “Riding Rocks” pins will be awarded to those who visit one to six of any of the Hard Rock Cafes, and a special pin will be awarded to those who manage to visit all seven.

 Sponsorship forms must be submitted with the tracking document in order to be considered to win the leather jacket. All completed sponsorship forms and cheques for the amount raised (made payable to Harley-Davidson Europe) for the charities should be sent to:
