.jpg) Tinky's first night in the Snake Pit - October 1996 Lippy dines out regularly on the tale of how I supposedly went off to collect some used computer equipment we had allegedly purchased as a business asset in London early one sunday morning and in fact drove post-haste through miles of freezing fog to the Yorkshire dales to collect Tinky and her brother as a surprise birthday present and on arrival home on a wet cold night asked her to put on a dressing gown over her PJ's and help me unload the hatchback ... having followed me out into the cold night air muttering under her breath for once she was speechless (I know hard to believe !) when I opened the boot .... her first gobsmacked reaction being that I must have found them abandoned somewhere out on the motorway (yeah right 'appens every day !) |
