2 Now in its 3rd year the Ride around the legendary Millbrook Test Track on Saturday morning is now an integral part of the Nene Machine 'Squires & Spires' Rally . The sad news of the death of HD Dockgate 20 salesman Darren in a bike crash broke on arrival and following a minute's silence the ride was dedicated to him .
Me , 'Mad Max' n Monty our python set up the hospitality bar in the grandstand foyer as usual Then headed off to Paaarty !!
The stars of Hollywood were out in force this year with Wallace , Gromitt & Homer Simpson centre stage

We regularly update a gallery feature called 'Snakes Pix on the Road' Last Year (2007) Chapter Director Martin asked if I fancied a chopper ride to grab some aerial shots of the Rally Site Unfortunately the deluge of biblical proportions that ensued put paid to that and it was re-scheduled for this year. My sprog 'Mad Max' was gutted there were only 2 free seats ! - one for me and one for Oz the Club Lensman. The sacrifices a Father makes eh ? ..
