Well the rain held off for the opening salvo of the 2008 rally season and it was a a privilege to be sharing the weekend with old friends - thanks for all the words of wisdom. My sprog 'Mad' Max was with me to lend moral support and share the workload as Moggy and her TWO new assistant directors (who help carry her home after a great night) gently wrestled the reins from Dave Holden standing down after many years as chapter director. Rianna Long undoubtedly took the prize for most radical haircut (despite the fact that the fancy dress theme was 'Elvis lookalikes' ) ... but the focal point of the weekend was inevitably the 5000+ pounds raised by the presence of a lovely lady on this suitably stunning pink Sportster promoting 'Sarah's Appeal' towards breast cancer awareness (For details of Bridgwater HOG's 'Not the Pink Rally' click here) Max and I didn't get much chance to mingle but here's a few pix to give you a Snakebite of a stunningly well oiled rally !!
