The Fenlanders Chapter is preparing for the second running of the GOSH charity ride into the heart of London , following the highly successful first running of the event in 2005. The charity ride is planned for Sunday September 16, 2007 and the organisers are already being asked about the event by H.O.G. members wishing to get involved in the ride.

The main ride in will leave at the Walthamstow Stadium Car Park at 10.30 am, from where the Metropolitan Police will provide a fully escorted ride through North London to a location near the Great Ormond Street Hospital site. Food and refreshments, along with an opportunity for photos and presentations in true biker style for children, parents and staff, will be available.

The Fenlanders are extending a warm invitation to all H.O.G. members. However, because of parking restrictions, the number of bikes will be limited to 500. Those people interested in coming along and supporting an extremely worthwhile event are encouraged to return their application form asap if they haven't already done so.

New Forest HOG have organised two rides to join the main ride in congregating at Walthamstow dog track as follows:

Group One meet Ower 7.30am for prompt 8.00 depart (Leader Cap'n Bob)
Group Two meet Tesco, North Harbour 7.00 am for 7.30 depart (Leader John Lucas)

Marjorie Ragg, Manager of H.O.G. UK and Ireland, the team at Black Bear Harley-Davidson and the Fenlanders Chapter are working together to organise what promises to be yet another exciting day for H.O.G. members and an even more exciting and memorable day for the children, parents and staff of GOSH.

PLEASE NOTE that you mus PRE-REGISTER to participate in this event - information packs can be obtained from Bob Long / Pompey John Lee / Dockgate 20 cafe area

The hard copy info packs also contain an optional sponsorship form which enables any rider obtaining 50+ pounds worth of sponsorship to receive a special commemorative pin

This is a great opportunity for New Forest to show what we do best - raising money for a good cause and putting on a great show so if you have a chapter flag please fly it with pride !
